<p>In algebra you will frequently hear the term like variables. You could also look at 2 being a common factor for 4 and 14. The same division procedure needs to be repeatedly performed until there are no common factors left. This can also be done by finding the GCF of both the numerator and the denominator. You will divide the numerator and the denominator by the <b>greatest common factor</b> instead of the common factor.</p>
